Teksky is Hiring an Electrical Project Manager Near Baltimore, MD

About the position

The Project Manager provides administrative support, technical direction, and overall leadership to ensure the success of their projects. Project Managers are responsible for collaboration with the design team, creating the project budget, maintaining the work-flow schedule, communicating with project superintendent/foreman, directing the subcontractor scope, and tracking project financials including monthly profit and loss

Typical Work Day

  • Oversee construction and design (if applicable) to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design intent, National Electric Code, budget, and schedule
  • Coordinate with team members, clients, and contractors, reviewing project plans and budgets, and timelines
  • Attend weekly project meetings and conduct site visits as needed.
  • Assist with preconstruction including the following estimating, change orders, etc.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and change order requests
  • Ensure that all client/ project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and understood
  • Manage project documents to assure that all documentation is accurate, up to date, and accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients, highlighting the value of the company’s services

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Construction Management or 5 years equivalent in experience managing electrical construction projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Travel to jobsite as required
  • Experience with Accubid estimating software
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu
  • Experience with file sharing sites such as Procore or Plan Grid

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
